This week, within the span of three days, the Mirocke family encountered two big health events. On Tuesday, January 17th, Tia had scheduled surgery (one which requires a lot of rest and healing time), and on Friday, January 20th, Jacob was in a head-on collision after the other driver fell asleep at the wheel. His spleen was ruptured due to the impact, requiring emergency surgery and a splenectomy. He also fractured his L2 vertebrae which will require a brace and physical therapy once he's gained back his strength. They are now unexpectedly on the road to recovery together.
As many of you know, they have three amazing kids and a menagerie of pets that they adore. We are reaching out to their community and village of friends, family, and co-workers to help offer financial support during this difficult time. Our goal is to help them cover unexpected medical costs, physical therapy sessions, childcare, and daily living expenses (utilities, groceries, housing, etc), so they can focus their energy on healing and not have to worry about juggling it all.
A small piece of goodness from everyone can bring this sweet family some much-needed assistance.
