Help the Mills Family Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
Our dear neighbors, the Mills family, just experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A fire completely destroyed their home, leaving them with nothing. Robert and Charlotte Mills, an elderly couple who’ve lived here for decades, shared the home with their daughter Sara and her five teenage boys. Charlotte suffers from dementia, and her familiar surroundings were so important for her peace and comfort.
We’re coming together as a community to raise funds to help them start over—and hopefully buy them a new home. They’ve lost everything, but with your help, we can give them back some stability, safety, and hope.
Robert and Charlotte Mills, and family have always been the kind of neighbors who jump into action anytime we need them, we are eager to do the same for them. Charlotte is living with dementia, and the family works together to care for her. Their daughter Sara lives with them, raising five teenage boys under one roof filled with a lot of life.
That roof—and everything under it—was lost in a house fire on April 10, 2025. One of the teenage boys heroically kicked out an AC unit to get his brother, their grandmother and dogs out safely, thank God. We are beyond grateful that no one was hurt and they were able to escape quickly! But they lost their home and most all material possessions.
Right now, they’re trying to figure out what comes next. We’d love to ease that burden by helping raise enough money to get them into a new home. Something safe, stable, and permanent where they can begin to rebuild.
We know times are tough for many, but if you’re able to give anything at all—even just a few dollars—it will make a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page helps more than you know.
Let’s show the Mills family that they’re not alone. Let’s help them turn this tragedy into a fresh start.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support. Please above all else pray for our friends and neighbors.
