Help the Miller (Hayward) Family

On July 29th, Chris, a fit and healthy 39 year old, married and father of three young girls suffered a major brain bleed and subarachnoid hemorrhage. Chris was rushed to hospital and spent 2 weeks of a ventilator in ICU at John Radcliffe hospital, He underwent numerous life saving brain surgeries.

It took a further 5 weeks for a bed to become available in London, he has now been waiting for a further 6 weeks for a bed to become available in a specialist neuro rehab center. He will be an inpatient for up to 6 months once he is transferred.

Intense rehab is the only chance he has to make any meaningful recovery, and be able to get back home to his family. Chris will need another brain surgery in 6 months and rehabilitation for the rest of his life. The road to recovery is long and slow and often takes years.

The families life has been turned upside down. I am raising funds for Abby to be able to best support this road to recovery via additional medical care, private therapists, support for her gorgeous girls and anything else which could make this horrific situation a little easier.
