I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my family during an incredibly difficult and overwhelming time.

My dad, Richard Miller, is currently hospitalized at Enloe Medical Center and is facing end-stage heart failure, along with serious complications including infections and organ stress. His heart function is extremely low, and while doctors are doing everything they can to stabilize him, we’ve been told his condition is not reversible and his future is very uncertain.

Over the past weeks, my dad has experienced repeated hospitalizations, ICU stays, intubation, and ongoing medical interventions. My mom has been by his side constantly, doing everything she can while trying to navigate fear, exhaustion, and impossible decisions. Unfortunately, our family does not have life insurance, and the medical expenses and aftercare needs are quickly becoming overwhelming.

Right now, this fund will help cover:

• Medical bills and hospital-related expenses

• Aftercare and support needs once he is discharged

• Basic living expenses while my mom is unable to work as much

• Travel and logistical costs related to his care

• Any unexpected costs that come with long-term illness

We are taking this one day at a time, and any support — whether financial, sharing this page, or keeping our family in your thoughts — truly means more than we can express.
