Sonya was induced for preeclampsia but suffered placenta abruption and baby Madison lost her blood flow and nutrients. Madi had to be resuscitated for 22 minutes. Thankfully to the team at Wyoming Medical Center they got her back and started cooling her. They flew her and daddy Jeremiah to Denver Children’s for further treatment and testing. Madison is doing well on oxygen and no longer on the ventilator but her liver and kidneys took a hit. The EEG shows she is not having seizures but she does have some pulmonary hypertension that they are treating. She’s had multiple blood transfusions, platelets and plasma. They will do an MRI on Monday or Tuesday to see if there is any brain damage. Some people and the Orr Hope foundation have helped the Milburn’s with food cards and they are trying to stay at the Ronald McDonald house. We’re starting the GoFundMe/fundraising to try to help offset costs while they are away from home and Jeremiah isn’t able to work. He will be traveling back and forth to help Victoria still see her parents but be with Madison as well.
