Mike Berger is an amazing father, husband, and friend. He touched the life of everyone he came in contact with his selflessness, compassion, offbeat sense of humor, ability to make personal connections anyone, and his tireless work ethic. He was in the process of starting a new career when his wife found him unconscious and he is currently in a coma at Long Beach Hospital without insurance. I worked with Mike for 6 years overnight at Sam’s Club. I was his boss then, but more than that he was my friend. He is one of the kindest, hardworking, and giving people I’ve ever met. The amount he gave for his son, Cash, set the example for what it means to be an amazing father. I say with sincerity I do my best to emulate what Mike did as a father with my own son as Mike is the gold standard for parenting and he lived his life for the benefit of Cash.
