Help the Mihlbauer Family Fight George’s Cancer

Lisa Haugen here, creating this Fundraiser for my longtime friends, George, Arlette (Iverson),and Preston Mihlbauer. 

2020 was a rough year for all of us,  but GEORGE MIHLBAUER struggled with worsening health issues that culminated in a diagnosis of Kidney Cancer in early 2021.    George had a liver transplant in 2006, and the anti-rejection medicine has caused or contributed to problems with diabetes, heart disease, kidney dysfunction, and now cancer.  He has been in and out of the hospital and miserable much of the last year.

A week ago the Mihlbauer family traveled to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.  George’s doctors there have scheduled surgery to remove the tumor on February 23.  He isn’t strong enough to make the trip home and back again, so the stay there will be several weeks.   It is unknown if the kidneys will function well enough after surgery—dialysis may be needed.

George, Arlette, and their son Preston are a family who have given help and support to so many of us through the years.  The medical bills and added living expenses they will incur will be daunting.  Let’s show them some love and encouragement with prayers and financial support as they face this battle!

Withdrawals are set to go direct to the Mihlbauer’s.   When I donated it said “funds go to benefit Lisa Haugen”  so apparently I didn’t fill something in correctly, but all donations go to the Mihlbauer’s.
