This is Marc Michelson; he is 49 years old and was just recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. He has already started chemotherapy and weekly blood transfusions.

Marc has a beautiful wife Dawn, and is a father of 4 girls, Jordynn, Amber, Cameryn & Payten. Of which two remain in the home as they are still in middle school & high school. He also recently became a grandfather to his first grandchild, Rylee. He is the main provider for his family and is still pushing himself to show up for work each day to take care of his family even though he is in the most difficult fight of his life.

Marc is an avid fisherman; some say one of the best. He loves to take his wife, father-in-law and his daughters fishing any chance he gets, to teach them how to fish and share his passion with his family, as his father, Don, taught him. Don taught Marc everything he knew about fishing and now, Marc teaches his father. With everything going on in Marc’s life, he has been unable to get onto the water this year as he does not have the strength or energy to be able to do what he loves.

Marc’s father is fighting for his life as he was also recently diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma. His father-in-law, Ron, just went through treatment for cancer. His uncle also recently passed away from lung cancer, and his grandmother unexpectedly passed away late last year. Needless to say, his family has been going through a really rough time.

The recovery process of this is tremendous, once chemotherapy is complete, and they have gotten rid of as many cancer cells as they can, he will need a bone marrow transplant and will have to be isolated in a hospital in Seattle for months to ensure he doesn't get any sort of infection. Please consider donating to help Marc with the medical expenses that are already beginning to stack up. Any amount can help. If you are unable to donate, please share Marc’s story and say a prayer for him and his beloved family. Thank you.
