Help Johnny Messina Beat Cancer

In September 2021 we received the news that my beloved husband Johnny was diagnosed with Cancer. It came as a complete shock to our family. Johnny's Cancer is Stage 3 and progressive. The Cancer has been confirmed in three areas and he's going to require extensive treatments.

Update: We have tried many routes of treatment and suggestions and now has come the time for surgery. We have had issues with insurance covering. We’ve paid a lot out of pocket. The only thing that has been covered so far is testing. I switched our insurance to a much better plan, but Johnny can’t wait that long for surgery. Time is of the essence as the cancer is now spreading. We were able to get him a surgery date of January 3rd, but it’s over $31,300 up front and insurance may not pay anything, but we won’t know until after surgery. I’ve seen stories of people fighting for their life and fighting the system in the movies, but never thought it would happen to us. 

 

We are looking for support from community. If this year has taught us anything it's that we need each other. I completely understand that the pandemic has caused lot's of job loss and shifts in personal finances, so we are incredibly grateful for any size of donation at all.
