My sister's family suffered a tremendous loss today with a house fire that has rendered their house unlivable. Their house caught on fire early afternoon 10/6 causing severe damage to the outside, destroying the electrical going to the house and causing fire damage outside and inside the house. The fire department had to cut several holes in the outside of the house to remove the smoldering wood and let the smoke escape. They are going to be without a house for quite some time. The fire also caused tremendous smoke damage to all of their belongings. Repairing the house will take months, so they won't be able to stay in their house and have to figure out where to stay. They have structural insurance but do not have content insurance. They need help to get by for the next couple of months until we can get their house livable again.
