The sweet Merrifield family has experienced more heartache and struggle than one should ever have to endure. A few years ago, Tim received a terminal cancer diagnosis. He is still fighting but his condition has left him unable to work. Mindy, a beloved preschool teacher at Traders Point Christian Schools is their primary source of income. With only Mindy able to consistently work, and the medical bills piling, they just recently lost their home. In a mixed blessing, they are moving into a house that was inherited. However, this house is not yet livable. They have no running water, no heat, and no working electricity, along with multiple other repairs. The costs of these repairs are very high. We’re asking for any help that you feel led to give (monetarily, hands-on expertise in these areas, etc.) to help give Tim, Mindy, and their 11 year old daughter Ruby, a functioning and safe home before the winter.

As most of you may know, I was Mindy’s assistant teacher for 3 years. She is like a second mother to me and her wisdom, love, and grace she has always shown me, is astounding. She truly is the definition of a Jesus-Centered woman, who would give her last dollar to anyone else in need. Thanks for helping me show her how loved and supported her family is.
