UPDATE: As most of you know, after battling cancer for almost a year, Steven has passed away. He leaves behind his wife, Jena, and their two sons, Pierce and Steven. Hi! My name is Hayden and I’m starting this fundraiser for some of our closest family friends who are facing some unexpected medical challenges. Steven woke up the day after thanksgiving experiencing dizziness and nausea, that continued on for the next month. On December 14, Steven went for an MRI on his brain, where they found a mass on the back side of his brain. On December 15th, Steven and Jena received news that the mass on Steven’s brain is malignant. Because of the location of the mass, the medical team has decided it is in Steven’s best interest to pursue chemo therapy and radiation for treatment. This means that Steven will be out of work for the time being. While Jena will still be working when she can, it’s important that she is available to Steven for appointments and being a caregiver. However, the medical, living, and day to day expenses will still be there. They also have two boys still living at home as well. If you feel led to donate, I know this family will be so grateful.
