Help The McLeod Family Rebuild after Fire
Donation protected
On March 31st, Gwyn and Mike McLeod packed up their suitcases, pet their three dogs, cat and guinea pig goodbye and started the journey to Great Falls in what was supposed to be a great couples getaway while their daughter went on a camping trip with friends and their father/father-in-law house sat. Instead, 5 hours later, they received a call that their house was on fire. By the time the Firefighters made it to the house, it was too late to save their pets or anything else in the home. In 5 hours, everything they had and half their family was gone.
We are asking our communities to come together and help this wonderful family get back on their feet. Mike is a nurse at Marcus Daly Hospital in Hamilton and every day that he goes to work, he puts his physical and mental energy into helping people on their very worst days. Gwyn is a landscaper with a golden touch and the warmest heart you have ever met. She can take any plant, no matter how close to death's door, and make it thrive. Chances are, if you live in the bitterroot valley, you've seen and enjoyed Gwyn's work.
The McLeods have always been a family that will go out of their way to help others. From medical expertise, mechanical smarts, gardening mastery and just being the friends you always needed, they have proven themselves to always be there for others, no matter the situation. I think it's time we all band together for them.
We are hoping to raise $30,000 to help the McLeods with housing, food and rebuilding their life. Please consider donating to these wonderful people.
