As you are aware 2021 has not been a good year for Mike and his family. His daughter, Sophia was rushed to Huntsville Hospital in January because she was having seizures and also tested positive for Covid. She was transferred to Birmingham where they were
informed she had a stroke and had some brain damage and paralysis. She was released from the hospital in May. Mike was then diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer. The good news was he was told it has not spread out of the prostate. But then this week, his oldest daughter, Vickey, was taken to the ER and now is in the ICU at Huntsville Hospital with Covid and is on a ventilator. Mike has depleted all of his PTO and has a tremendous amount of medical expenses.
