Help the McGraw and Cowperthwaite Family in Sorrow

We are truly saddened by the death of Jennifer, and we, Community United Methodist Church, would like to support the Cowperthwaite and McGraw family by raising funds on their behalf for her funeral/memorial service needs.

Jennifer's Story:

Daughter of Cathy & Mike McGraw, Jennifer passed peacefully in her sleep and entered Heaven’s gate into our God’s open and loving arms on March 12, 2025.

As many of you may know, Jennifer has been in a nursing home these past several years due to paralysis caused by a medical device. While she was unable to be her usual caring self, she still did her best to provide joy and smiles to those who helped her in hospice and the home where she resided.

Jennifer was an incredibly loving and caring person to those who cared for her and would stop at nothing to ensure they were happy. She was a lover of pets and always had cats and dogs to give all of her love to. She was a best friend to many and was a listening ear to all.

She was a doting aunt to her nephews, Xander and Joshua, and her niece Julianne, and a pseudo-aunt to so many others! She loved to hear about their antics, brag about their accomplishments, and spoil them whenever she could.

Even though this world was often cruel to her and she faced many health challenges, she marched through it all with as much dignity as she could and still managed to have a smile on her face and a funny story to share.

She will be missed and loved forever.
