Please consider blessing the McGhee family! My name is Jimmy McGhee, and I have lived in the Chattanooga area my whole life, minus a short stint in the U.S. Army. I have an amazing wife and three awesome kids. These funds would make a huge difference in the financial needs of my family, medical, therapists, counselor, and household bills.

our lives were altered about six months ago when I started having panic attacks and severe depression, I’ve been out of work for over three months. This financial strain has put a lot of stress on my marriage and family. The donations would open up a door for me to get professional help through doctors and therapist. They would also allow my wife and I to get marital counseling along with helping my family get caught up on our monthly bills.

a little about me, like I mentioned above, besides my time in the army I’ve spent all of my life in the Chattanooga area. I am 50 years old and at an early age I started to go down a destructive path of alcohol and drugs, a hopeless path that destroyed all my relationships with family and friends, caused two near death car wrecks to being arrested on several occasions and living in a homeless shelter. At the age of 31 in 2005 I gave my life to Jesus and entered adult and teen challenge an intense 15 month faith based drug and alcohol discipleship program. This is where my life was radically changed, from not feeling loved and wanted to being accepted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, from being hopeless to having an abundant life, from being bound by addiction to being set free by his love. Shortly after graduating I met and married my wife in 2008. God has been so good to me in giving me a beautiful wife that loves him and he has blessed us with three healthy and amazing kids.

I know that he has us even in the darkest of times and during these times I believe is when we should humble ourselves from (my pride) in order to ask for help. I know that God is our provider and I believe that he has and will put people in our lives to help along the way.
