Help Our Moto Family After Bike Theft
Donation protected
My name is Guyayne and I am setting this up to help remind our children that not all people are scum and that there are people in the community that do have a heart!
As some may know, our moto families are coming up on a HUGE WEEKEND! It is the Loretta Lynn Qualifier!
At 4:30 am this morning, my best friend and her husband, Steve and Stephanie McDonald, woke up to 5 of their bikes, 1 of our bikes, and 2 other friends' bikes all stolen from their garage. 8 bikes in total. 6 of the bikes are supposed to be ridden this weekend to qualify. As parents of moto children, we put everything we have into our children and supporting their dreams: the bikes, the riding, the training. Average folks trying to give our children every opportunity possible.
These scumbags came in the yard at 2:20 am this morning, broke into the side door of the garage, cut chains and locks, and rolled the bikes down the street. They are seen at the end of the road, riding the bikes off into the darkness with an SUV following them. Police were called and are investigating; however, we all know it’s rare that stolen dirt bikes make it back home!
I am humbly asking for any help possible to replace these dirt bikes. Anything you can contribute would help, or if you have a bike you can donate to the cause, for these boys to get back in the seat before this weekend to qualify, it would be much appreciated.
If you know our moto family, you know that Steve, and Shane, will do whatever they can to help keep your bike or your child’s bike running, especially on race days!
