On the evening of December 4th, a devastating fire swept through Curry Powder Lane in Germantown, Maryland, leaving the Mbouwa family unable to return home. The fire destroyed nearly all of their essential belongings in an instant, and they are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over.

The Mbouwa family needs help in every way. They are in urgent need of clothing: Adult M - Male, size 13 men's shoe; Adult M - Female, size 10 women's shoe; Adult L - Male, size 11 men's shoe; Adult L - Female, size 9 women's shoe; child size 11/12 for a nine-year-old boy, size 6 boys shoe; and a two-year-old girl, large diapers, size 6 shoe. In addition to clothing and shoes, they need self-care items and a safe place to stay while they work to rebuild their lives. The loss has been deeply felt, not just by the family, but by everyone who knows them. As they navigate this difficult time, our support can make a real difference in helping them recover and regain stability.
