My name is Tracy and my husband and two boys are friends of the Mayfield's. Our eldest played baseball with their twins and all of our boys went to summer camp together. They are some of the kindest, most hard-working people we have met since living in Louisville. They have lost their home and everything in it and can use any help that can be offered.
While the Mayfield family was away for a short vacation, a wildfire burned through their neighborhood. It happened so quickly and with so little warning, the dog sitter was unable to return to the home and save their two-year-old golden retriever, Lucky. The Mayfields returned to find their home of 16 years completely destroyed. Please help them rebuild so they can stay in their community and keep their 11-year-old twin boys in their local school and sports teams. The family loves living in Louisville. They are extremely grateful that they and their neighbors are safe and for the ongoing support and kindness they have received from the community. They, and all affected, will need assistance to recover from this disaster. Thank you.
