Ryan Mattson and his wife are beloved members of the Gallatin County community - people who show up for others and are always ready to lend a hand. On Friday, January 23, they welcomed their baby girl, Emilia Joy, into the world alongside their two children.
Almost immediately, it became clear that Emilia needed specialized medical care. She was rushed to the NICU, and when doctors determined that the local hospital could not meet her complex needs, the family made the difficult decision to transfer her to the Children’s Hospital in Seattle.
Once in Seattle, doctors discovered that Emilia has multiple heart defects that will require several surgeries and an extended stay far from home. The Mattson family are now navigating the emotional strain of having their newborn hospitalized while also facing mounting medical bills, travel costs, and the challenge of missing work to remain by Emilia's side.
Your support can make a real difference for the Mattson family. Contributions will help ease the financial burden of medical care and travel, allowing Ryan and his wife to focus on what matters most—Emilia’s healing and recovery.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to support the Mattson family during this incredibly difficult time. Every bit of support is deeply appreciated.
