Help with defraying cost & establishing the memorial music scholarship 

On Tuesday, May 11, 2021, Jay , Lana and Jonathan Matthews experienced the
unexpected, heartbreaking loss of their
16 year old son and brother, Eric.

Eric was brilliant in so many ways and
excelled in mathematics and music.  
He was an extremely talented violinist,
self-taught pianist, prolific composer,
and natural athlete.  And of course, he
was so much more than his accomplishments.

 Eric was a gentle soul who exhibited
compassion, generosity and kindness to all.  He exuded determination and drive
to succeed in all he did, and inspired
others to do the same. Eric is dearly
missed by his family and friends.

God loaned Eric to us for just a short
time, and we continue to be blessed for
having had him in our lives.  We know we will be with Eric again in heaven.  For we have this promise from God:

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NLT

Funds are being raised to help support
the unexpected and extensive funeral
costs and to establish a memorial music
scholarship in Eric’s name.
