Many of you know Jennifer Mathews and Eric Wolf have been battling an aggressive cancer as a family for the last (almost) 2 years. Update: Eric is terminal. He has weeks to live at this point—we are hoping he can make it through Christmas and the baby’s 3rd birthday. Jennifer has been financially supporting the family for the last 18 months. She needs to be home with her family and is terrified to take time off work, because they are literally living from paycheck to paycheck. In the last 3 months they lost 3 major appliances—refrigerator, washer, and dryer. They live in the Phoenix, AZ area. They don’t have a ‘village’ to rally around them. They desperately need financial support, meals prepared if possible, and a whole lot of prayer and emotional support. A few days ago they had to share the heartbreaking news with their very littles — a little boy and girl—that daddy was very sick and would be going to heaven soon. Devastating. In the midst of the holidays, in addition to allowing Jennifer to be home with her family, there also still needs to be gifts under the tree for the children and some financial support for remaining legal guidance. If anyone knows of an attorney in the Phoenix area willing to help this family at a discounted rate, that too would be amazing. Just to note, they have exhausted extended family financial and out of state support, as most families do during a long term medical crisis. Eric's mother is in her 80's and living on a limited income. If you are looking for a more direct way to help with funds, Jennifer has Zelle as well, please reach out to me or her via messenger for those details.
