I am organizing donations on behalf of my partner, Arienne, and her family, The Martins, to try and alleviate some of the costs of starting over after losing their cherished home in the recent Pacific Palisades Fire.

Not only was this where Susan and Christian lovingly raised my partner Arienne and her sister Kalea, but it was also their father Christian's childhood home where he grew up with his parents. They were fortunately (and unfortunately) out of the state and unable to retrieve any personal belongings. As long-standing generational Palisadians, they are starting from square zero to get everything they had replaced.

The Martins have always been so kind and involved in the Palisades culture and community, and while sentimental items may be irreplaceable, I have hopes to help mediate some costs.
