Hello, my name is Erik Gonzalez, and I’m helping raise some money for the Martinez family’s unfathomable loss of their son, Luis Angel. I’ve been blessed to have met Luis’s dad Tunco many years ago. Tunco is one of the hardest working men I’ve ever met. He is a skilled roofing contractor who always performs his work with professionalism, integrity, and humility. But if I had to pick one term to describe Tunco, it would be that he is a family man. Everything he does day in and day out from dusk till dawn is to work in the harshest conditions to provide for his family. Well, this family’s worst nightmare became a reality last week when their 18 year old son Luis Angel unexpectedly and tragically lost his life. While I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Luis Angel, Tunco would proudly talk of his son who was an avid soccer player, and good student. As a proud soccer dad myself, I could feel in my bones how much Tunco loved Luis Angel.

Needless to say, the family is devastated emotionally. And the funeral/burial costs for their beloved son and siblings are substantial, more so for a family without means.

I want to appeal to your compassionate side in considering helping out. Let’s take away at least a little bit of anxiety away from this beautiful family, and allow them to focus their energy on mourning their son. God bless you, God Bless Luis Angel, and God bless the Martinez family.
