Help the Martinez family rebuild after house fire

Hello, my name is Cesar Martinez, thank you for taking your time to read our story. Last Sunday, August 25, 2024, our house in Albany, Oregon accidently caught on fire. Even though she was in shock, our daughter was able to react quickly and seek help from a neighbor who eventually called 911 and the fire department personnel. As we're dealing with the aftermath and going through the difficult event of our house fire, we are reaching out for support. We practically lost everything in the fire except for some things that we were able to save, but unfortunately, the smoke also damaged the ceiling and walls (as shown in the photographs). We are a family of five, with two adults and three children ages 14, 10, and 4.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to pay for temporary housing, to make repairs to the home (roof, drywall, and kitchen cabinets), and to purchase beds, mattresses and clothing (and shoes) for the entire family.

Hola mi nombre es Cesar Martinez, gracias por tomar su tiempo en leer nuestra historia. El pasado domingo 25 de agosto de 2024, nuestra casa en Albany, Oregón, se incendió accidentalmente. A pesar de que estaba en shock, nuestra hija pudo reaccionar rápidamente y buscar ayuda de un vecino que finalmente llamó al 911 y al personal del departamento de bomberos. Mientras lidiamos con los efectos y atravesamos el difícil evento del incendio de nuestra casa, buscamos apoyo. Prácticamente perdimos todo en el incendio exepto algunas cosas que pudimos salvar. Lamentablemente el humo también dañó el techo y las paredes (como se muestra en las fotografías). Somos una familia de cinco personas, dos adultos y tres niños de 14, 10 y 4 años.

Lo recaudado se usara para pagar vivienda temporal, hacer reparaciones en la casa (el techo, paneles de yeso para las paredes, y muebles de cocina) y comprar camas y ropa (y zapatos) para toda la familia.

Agradecemos por adelantado la buena voluntad que puedan ustedes mostrar. Tambien, nos ayudaria bastante que compartieran esta informacion para que llegue a todos sus contactos, amistades, y la comunidad.
