On the morning of September 8th, tragedy struck the Bertin family when a sudden and devastating fire engulfed their home in Boardman, Ohio. In just a matter of minutes, everything they had worked so hard for—furniture, clothes, childhood memories, family heirlooms—was gone.

Thankfully, Joe & Joey had already left for school & Robin was able to get out safely, however, they lost 2 of their 3 cats in the fire. Their home, the one they poured their love and dreams into for many years, is now completely devasted.

The family is currently staying with relatives while they begin the long, overwhelming journey of recovery. They’re trying to stay strong, but the road ahead is steep—and they can’t do it alone.
