As many in our community know, Angel went missing on February 14, 2024. For over a year, his family searched tirelessly, holding on to hope that they would bring him home. Tragically, on March 26, 2025, their worst fears were confirmed when they received the call that Angel’s body had been found.

Angel's story echoed through our community time and again—a story of hope, heartbreak, and unity. Now, we’re asking the community to come together one last time to support the Martinez Family as they face an unthinkable loss.

This GoFundMe will help cover:

Angel’s end-of-life services and memorial reception for the family, friends, and the community who never gave up

Church services and all related expenses

Time and space for Angel’s mother to grieve and begin healing from a year marked by unimaginable loss

In just one year, she has lost her son, her brother, her life partner (Angel’s father), and her nephew. No parent should have to carry this kind of heartbreak alone.

Any funds raised beyond what is needed for Angel’s memorial will be donated in his honor to suicide awareness and prevention efforts.
