Monica, James, Xavier (20), and Madison (17) Marsh lost their family home of 22 years to the devastating Eaton Fire late in the evening of January 7th, 2025. The Marsh family had evacuated their home on late afternoon on January 7th with the bare essentials simply as a precaution. The Marsh home sat far away from the edges of the hills and it seemed unlikely that the fire would spread all the way to their home. The next morning Monica and James returned to their home only to find charred remnants of their family haven, and all their family possessions reduced to ash.

Monica and James have been courageous as they face this nightmare, and have been pillars of comfort to their children, family, and friends who were also affected. Monica, who works for Affordable Housing, and James, who works for Goodwill Southern CA as a career counselor, rarely ask for help, and are so generous with their time. We have set up this GoFundMe to help the Marsh family as they try to carve a path forward. If you would be willing to donate even a small amount, it would help the Marsh family so much.
