As some of you may know, on Monday 9th August Jamie Markham a father of 3 lost his life when he was stabbed to death by a youth group for protecting his 17 year old daughter Chloe. Jamie’s life was taken away from him in a matter of minutes and died in his partners arms Candice.

To anyone who knew Jamie would have known he was an amazing day Dad and Partner. If you didn’t, Jamie was only 45 years old. He had 3 beautiful kids Jamie, Chloe and George, who adored their father and have been left broken from this tragic event. Jamie was a family man, caring, kind hearted and kept himself to himself. It comes to a shock for all of us to experience an event like this with Jamie losing his life. Jamie was an innocent man someone who couldn’t hurt a fly he was just lovely.

This tragedy has now left Jamie’s family experiencing heartbreak and devastation. Unfortunately Jamie did pass away in Candice’s arms in-front of his daughter Chloe too. This is an experience that will now scar both Chloe and Candice for the rest of their life’s. As well as Jamie who is 23 who now has to go around life without his father. Candice and Jamie’s youngest son George is set to start secondary school in September wanting his dad to be there for his first day. Therefore, these youths who stabbed Jamie have caused the family to now be torn apart. All the children want is their father and he unfortunately was taken too soon.

Furthermore, I’ve set up this page up to raise money for Jamie’s funeral costs. I would also like to raise awareness of knife crime and the heartbreak it leaves behind. This experience is an experience Candice and her children will never forget. Please donate what you can anything will help at such a hard time that will give Jamie the send off that he deserves. Any donations will be given to Candice and her family towards funeral costs and anything else they may need at this hard time.
