Help Travis "The Mantis" Thomas Get Back on the Mats
Hi, my name is Travis "The Mantis" Thomas. I’m a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and a passionate martial artist who has dedicated my life to the sport. Unfortunately, I recently suffered a devastating knee injury, tearing my ACL, LCL, and PCL—an injury that requires extensive surgery and rehabilitation.
Training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu have been my life’s work. From my days wrestling in high school to training at 10th Planet Decatur, I’ve poured everything into this journey. My dream is to continue pushing my limits in the sport I love, but right now, I’m facing one of the biggest battles yet—recovering from this injury and getting back to the mats.
The surgery alone is costly, not to mention the months of rehab required to regain full strength. As a full-time athlete, I rely on training, competing, and teaching to support myself, but this injury has taken me out of the gym and away from my livelihood.
I’m humbly asking for your help to fund my surgery and recovery. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward my medical expenses and rehabilitation, allowing me to heal properly and come back stronger. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and fellow martial artists means the world to me.
Thank you for believing in me, for your support, and for being part of my journey back to the mats. I promise to fight just as hard in my recovery as I do in competition.
