My name is A’ala Lyman, I am a friend of the Mancusis and our sons our best friends since kindergarten. I live in Waialua, specifically in Mokuleia. Last week the first storm flooded their property. They had just finishing cleaning up from the flood which had totaled their out buildings with mud and water up to 4 feet. Today the water got into their home which is up 5 feet on stilts. My friends husband paddle boarded into their neighborhood today in order to survey the damage while his wife and sons are safe in mokuleia. I’m starting this go fund me to help fund their clean up and recovery effort. They will need new furniture, drywall, carpentry material to rebuild their walls. New cabinets. Flooring. Mud removal. Appliances, mattresses and couches. The funds will go directly to Bia and Sylvio via their bank account as a direct transfer from Go fund me. I’m just a friend initiating this go fund me as I know their many many friends and families and others will want to help them during this time.
