Hi my name is Ian Merkoulov, I am a graduating animation student in need of support to enter the professional world with professional tools!:)

With your support, I’ll have the professional tools to make the TROUBADOUR CAR in to the ultimate storytelling artifact and center point for the transmedia documentary project THE MAKING OF; YOUR DREAM! In witch we collect, share and create dreams with the necessary creative energy to spark inner fire. Connect, remember and realize the power of our authentic inner liquid gold to share with the world!
THE MAKING OF YOUR DREAM is my passion project and long term collaborative, real-time transmedia documentary, that reaches people from all walks of life and my upcoming graduation at the WDKA in Rotterdam is the kickoff moment.
As a multimedia troubadour I aspire to collect stories of inner wisdom, the connection and realization of our dream through creativity. These stories are than transformed in to beautiful art in order to share them (with the troubadour car as a stage). From music performed on stage to streets, storytelling for children in nature, wood sculpting, ceramics, writing, creative workshops, poetry to stop motion movie animations!
Your Contribution Will Fund Essential Equipment:
360° camera for capturing stories from every angle, as I travel with the Troubadour Car through the Netherlands and beyond!
powerful mini projector for screening animated films live on the streets and at various locations, turning any space into a shared storytelling experience.
portable amp to enhance street performances and enable spontaneous jam sessions, fostering a shared love of music.
Recording equipment for podcasts and interviews with seemingly insignificant but beautiful everyday authentic heroes of our world, capturing stories that deserve to be heard.
Screws and bolts to ensure the Troubadour Car holds together, without too much “tringle and dingle” along the way!
And some more technical equipment that only excites nerdy animators like me but I promise its fruits won’t fail to excite you in theatre!
