Fire Relief for the Magidson’s

Hi, my name is Bella. I’m 15 years old. My family and I just went through a very traumatic experience due to the Caldor Fire in El Dorado County that has destroyed everything in its path. My father and family were evacuated around 1:30 on August 17th, but thankfully my brother and I were with my mother. We packed as much as we could hours before the mandatory evacuations. UPDATE: We were informed we lost everything. We just recently moved to this area this past year and it has changed our lives. The community is amazing and everyone is always there for each other in need. It’s extremely unfortunate that this has happened to these peaceful and beautiful places. My dad recently just started his electrical/construction company up in Grizzly, which is now left in ash and ruins. He is doing everything he can to support us during this time. Now that we know that our property didn’t survive, we have to rebuild on the foundations left behind.
