The Madison Project, founded in 1996, is James Madison University’s premier a cappella group with nearly three decades of fine music.
Dedicated to the performance, education, and recording of high-quality a cappella music, we’ve earned national recognition through awards, features on albums like Best of College A Cappella and Voices Only, and tours across the East Coast.
Beyond the music, The Madison Project is first and foremost, a brotherhood. Members join a tight-knit community and a network of 150+ alumni, creating lifelong friendships and connections.
Your support helps us continue this tradition—funding travel, recordings, and performance opportunities as we carry our legacy forward!
