Help the Lynam Family

Stephanie & Michelle Lynam are both Kingsway graduates & lifelong residents of Logan Township. I recently learned that their family has fallen on extremely hard times & I'm hoping we can help.

Stephanie & Michelle have been caring for their mother in their childhood home for many years now.  Their mother has dementia which has gotten increasingly worse.  They were sharing a vehicle, working & caring for their mother when the vehicle was totaled in an accident. As a result they both lost their jobs & with the increasing difficulty in caring for their mother & loss of transportation they have both been out of work for some time now. They have been trying to have social services visit so they can get help for their mother & hopefully pull their lives back.

Unfortunately on September 28th they received notice that their home will be put up for auction on December 7th.  They have been living in the home without electric since July & with winter quickly approaching they are getting colder by the day & are terrified of ending up on the street with nowhere to go.

My family has been doing what we can over the last week to help but this is a bigger task than we can take on alone.  My hope is that we can raise enough money to get them into an apartment for December & get them back on their feet.
