With heavy hearts, the Lor family announces the passing of their beloved eldest brother, Kong Peng Lor. Kong proudly served in the United States Army from 2004-2010 and rose to the rank of Sergeant.

Kong was a man of few words, but those around him knew him to be genuine and kind-hearted. Unfortunately, Kong battled depression for several years. Due to his unwillingness to burden those around him with his struggles and mental anguish, the family was unaware he was nearing his breaking point.

On September 30th, 2025, our family received the heartbreaking news that our brother had taken his own life. Kong leaves behind a mother, three sisters, and two brothers who will miss him dearly.

This unexpected loss has put a substantial financial burden on our family. We are asking that if you can find it in your hearts, please help us by donating.

All donations will go directly towards burial expenses and funeral services. Services are expected to be held on November 2nd and 3rd in Stockton, CA.

Lastly, we do not want to remember the tragic way our brother left us, but rather, we would like to remember and honor him as a loving brother and a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country.
