Please help the Ligon Family
Donation protected
Please consider donating to help the Ligon Family with their significant medical and daily expenses as they prepare for treatments across the coming months.
Brian Ligon, beloved former physical education teacher at Our Lady of Mercy, exceptional colleague, loving husband to Lori, and father of two has recently been diagnosed with acute leukemia and will begin his extensive treatments at Johns Hopkins this week.
Brian's wife Lori, also a beloved teacher and mother of two, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing treatments of her own.
Brian is fondly remembered at Mercy, and memories of the Ligon era are echoed to this day in the Mercy hallway. Students still recall his good name and compassionate nature. Teachers still remark how students would dash down the hallway to get to his class - widely known as the very favorite subject at Mercy! The lessons Brian taught went well beyond the field and basketball court and left a lasting impression on all who he came in contact with.
During this time of Thanksgiving, we are being called to support Brian and his family, who so unselfishly gave of himself. Please consider donating to help the Ligons. Your support is greatly appreciated.
