My name is Kelly Mulvihill, and I am starting this GoFundMe account for the Ley family of Mt. Laurel. Maureen Ley, a 1987 graduate of Lenape High School, unexpectedly passed away on October 9th, leaving Kait, 22 and her younger brother, Aiden, 16, with minimal financial resources due to their father passing away ten years ago. I have had the privilege of working with Kait Ley for the past few years at Just Children in Medford. I had known the Ley family since they enrolled Kait at Just Children when she was a toddler. Her younger brother also attended Just Children. Kait started working part-time at Just Children in Mt. Laurel while attending Lenape High School. She transferred to our Medford location in September of 2020 and worked full time while she was attending Rowan University full time and ran our Remote Learning Class. Kait graduated from RU in May of 2022 with honors and earned the Senior of Distinction award while she helped run our Pre-K program full-time. Kait has contributed to their household bills with her income from Just Children, but this loss may be too much of a financial burden to overcome. Kait is currently working full-time and working towards her Master's Degree at RU. Please help by donating so Kait and her brother can provide a funeral for their mother and try to keep their childhood home. Thank you.
