Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

I’m reaching out on behalf of the Lex Family, who recently experienced a devastating house fire. On Wednesday, October 2nd, their home was severely damaged, with the top floor destroyed and smoke rendering the contents of their home a total loss. While we are all grateful that everyone is safe, they’ve lost nearly everything.

As someone whose own family went through the tragedy of a house fire, I know all too well the immense challenges of losing your home. During that difficult time, we were deeply moved by the outpouring of support—not just from friends and family, but from people we didn’t even know. That generosity helped us rebuild both our home and our spirits, and not a day goes by that we don’t think about those people that helped us in various ways. I want to offer that same support to Josh, his wife Christina, and their children, Jacob (12) and Ava (6).

Right now, their immediate concern is replacing essentials for the kids, as they’ve been advised to discard most of their clothes, toys, and personal belongings.

I’ve set up this GoFundMe to help the Lex Family purchase the necessities they need to start rebuilding their lives. Your support—whether big or small—will make a huge difference and show them they’re not alone in this difficult journey.
