Dear friends, family, and wonderful community

On August 13th, 2025 a devastating fire took place at our Lewis home. Thankfully, all human lives were not in the home at this time. Unfortunately we lost 2 family pets and 1 dog that is still being treated and the other 2 are being watched. We are overwhelmed with grief for what we have lost. We lost nearly everything : animals, clothing, furniture, essential documents, cherished memories, and the everyday items that make up a home.

As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll has been unbelievable. We're doing everything we can to stay strong as a family. For most of you that know this family, it is hard for us to ask for help. My parents helped so many and made so many childhoods and lives better.

At this time we are just trying to concentrate on the animals that made it out, my parents Toni and Eric , and my nephew Gavin.

So I am reaching out with this GoFundMe to help mostly with vet bills, clothing, food, household items, or anything else one could think of at a time like this. Unfortunately the insurance won't help with any vet bills. Any contribution, no matter what the amount is, will go directly toward helping the animals heal and helping my family get back on our feet. If you can't dontate please just share this where you can. I know our family, friends, and community will pull together to help and we have seen some of that love already and we greatly will appreciate it.
