Help the Letcher Family!

This is the initial information post from Nates wife, Emily.. Since this was posted Nate has been placed on a ventilator. I will post the update on that later. Emily is due to have their baby girl any day now so she is out of work. They also have Oliver to take care of. They will need some help with bills while they are in this hard time as well as accruing medical bills as Nate is in the hospital. Let's show the Letchers some love and help them out any way we can!

On Saturday, Nate started to feel sick and he kept getting worse on Sunday. On Monday he went to get tested for covid, and on Tuesday we got the results that he was positive. Oliver and I went to be with my mom and step dad so we could reduce our exposure, but we both also tested positive.

I can’t remember the exact dates now because this has all been very overwhelming, but I believe it was Wednesday that Nate went to to ER for dehydration. He was able to go home that night, feeling a little better. But a few days later, he was back in the ER. He was very out of it and talking strangely. When I had called him that morning, I asked him if he was going to go to the ER, but he wasn’t making any sense. Later that day, he was at the ER again. Luckily his parents were there with him so they could get him to the hospital after seeing how loopy he was and how sick he seemed.

He was in the ER all day yesterday. They admitted him and transferred him to the hospital in Mankato.

This morning I got an update from his nurse in Mankato. He was moved to ICU, he is on a bipap machine and he is being given 90% oxygen… he also is on a line to monitor his blood pressure… they also told me he may have to go on a vent they are waiting on results…

On top of all of this, I am 9 months pregnant - scheduled to be induced on Wednesday, and Nate won’t be able to be there with me to meet his little girl…

We appreciate all the love and support you all have shown us. We apologize if we don’t get back to you all right away, it’s hard to keep up with it all while all of us are beside ourselves and overwhelmed.

God is good. Lord above… I need a miracle!
