Help the Leraas Family Through Health Challenges

Hi Friends and Family,
Reaching out to ask for help for our beloved women's varsity soccer coach Jaime Leraas and her family!
Jaime is in her 27th year at Frisco High School. Jaime started the girls' soccer program at Frisco High and is the head coach for the girls' soccer team and a physical education teacher. Nate Leraas is in his 27th year at Plano West Senior High and is the golf coach.
Jaime and Nate have two children, Eli and Emma. Eli is currently a sophomore at Frisco High and plays baseball and football. Emma is a college sophomore attending DCC, playing softball, and majoring in education.
The summer started off challenging as Nate Leraas was diagnosed with diverticulitis and needed emergency surgery that kept him in the hospital for ten days. Nate is now scheduled for a second surgery that will take place at the end of October.
Additionally, in July, Jaime was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Jaime is currently scheduled for a double mastectomy on Tuesday, September 10th. That surgery will determine if the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, which would require future chemotherapy and radiation. She will need a subsequent surgery, but the timing is undetermined as of now.
As we all know, these things can take a toll on a family mentally and financially. We are reaching out to our Frisco family to ask for help if you are able.
Jaime is in very good spirits and has a positive outlook on her journey ahead. She is precious and loved by so many.
Please cover this family with prayers.
Thank you for all your support.
