Nicole is the devoted mother of Avah, Kinsley, and Regan. On January 1, their world suddenly changed forever when they lost their beloved husband and father, Ronnie. I have been friends with Ronnie for 33 years. He was like a brother to my husband and I, and his kindness and love touched everyone who knew him. His heart was huge. He would give the shirt off his back and the last penny in his pocket if he knew it would help someone else. Ronnie's family was what he lived for, and he worked so hard to provide for them every single day. He was a loyal husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
Just two days before Thanksgiving, Ronnie suffered a terrible fall that shattered both his feet and re-injured his back. He spent weeks in the hospital enduring pain and waiting for the swelling to go down so doctors could perform surgery on both feet. After finally receiving the surgeries he needed, Ronnie was told he would likely be in a wheelchair for months. Despite this, he was determined to return home to be with his family, especially for the holidays. Unfortunately, he had also been struggling with his asthma. Over the past year, it had gotten really bad. Last night he couldn’t breathe, she called paramedics. EMT did everything they could, despite many efforts Ronnie lost his fight.
Nicole and her children are now facing not only the heartbreak of losing Ronnie, but also the overwhelming burden of funeral/memorial expenses, along with the challenge of covering everyday living costs. Any support that can ease their burden as they navigate this sudden tragedy—whether it be a donation, a share, or even just a prayer—is deeply appreciated. Your kindness will help Nicole, Avah, Kinsley, and Regan find hope and stability in the days ahead. Thank you
We will update with the service date when everything is finalized.
