My name is Nile and I set up this Gofundme to help my cousin, Laina, raise funds after losing everything to the flood. For decades, the Leiataua family has shown up for our community with service, care, and generosity. They have always been the ones to give and support others. Now, they need us.

They would never ask for help themselves, which is why we are coming together to do it for them.

After the recent flood, they lost nearly everything. Their beds, clothing, appliances, and essential belongings are gone, and their home has severe damage, including a partially collapsed roof and water-damaged walls.

There are also three babies in the home, including a newborn baby born last night, and all baby essentials, including items from a recent baby shower, were lost.

To make matters harder, they are not able to receive insurance support due to circumstances beyond their control.

We are raising $15,000 to help them rebuild and replace basic necessities.
