Scott Lee, a devoted father of three young children, two older children and an incredible husband to Christine, was hit with a devastating diagnosis right before Christmas.

While getting ready for a family night with friends on Halloween, Christine noticed a lump under his ear and immediately thought it was abnormal. Scott went to his primary care doctor and after numerous tests and a needle biopsy he was given a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis in his lymph node.

After trying to make appointments to get more answers and a treatment plan here in Fresno, Scott and Christine quickly learned they could not get in to see specialty doctors for almost months. They did some research, made some calls and decided to get help at MD Anderson in Texas. They flew out to Texas and within a week they had more gut wrenching news about his prognosis and treatment. Scott will now bravely battle his hpv related cancer that originated in his tonsil and has spread to his lymph node with radiation and chemotherapy, since the tumor is in a location that cannot be removed surgically with good margins. Scott and Christine will be traveling out to Texas, with their three daughters, to be with Scott during his treatment and with this comes many unknowns.

The Lee family has been so loving and thoughtful for everyone in the community and now it’s time to show them some love.
