Help the Lazzaro Family Through Louie's Recovery

My name is Jaime and I am starting this GoFundMe to help my friends, Tiffany and Louie Lazzaro with unexpected expenses (mainly medical). Louie had a terrible accident on Thursday June 5th. As many of you know him and his wife Tiffany have two daughters, and are always the first to help anyone in need without asking for a thing in return. I can not recall one time either of them have asked for help, so I am hoping we can come together in their time of need. There will be a lot of expenses that no family is prepared for especially when work is already slow and they are in the process of building a house. A high tension steel cable snapped and ripped through his forearm. He was rushed to the hospital and into emergency surgery to partially rebuild his arm and fix the damaged blood vessels, tendons, and tissue. Some of the damage was fixable in the O.R., some they are working on figuring out with the surgeons as it comes. More surgeries to come and a nice stay in the hospital with probably a few more of those to come as well. He will be back to new in a few months but for now its a long road ahead of them. We are thankful for now that he was able to keep his arm, but he is not completely in the clear as of yet. The hospital gave them the option to come home for the weekend as they await a wound vac to send home. He will be readmitted next week to start taking measures on the open wound to make a plan for reconstruction. For now the other part is sealed and lots of stitches are holding it together. He has been strong through this all so far. Insurance is not covering but 50% of most of the initial surgeries and toward the end of road when they do the cosmetic part, insurance will not cover that at all.
