Hi, my name is Teddi Westfall and I have had the privilege of knowing the Lasiter's for over 30 years. Over the years they have helped many people when in need and now they could use our support. In May of this year they traveled to Texas for vacation, which is where Steve is from, and when they returned they both had contracted Covid. Unfortunately, Donna's illness progressed to the point of needing hospitalization and she was admitted to Desert Regional Medical Center, while Steve was at home quarantined and unable to see his amazing wife. Donna was intubated on June 3rd and spent the next couple of weeks battling Covid and then June 14th had to be transferred by medical air transport to US San Diego for specialized care. The entire time, Steve, Taylor and Hailey along with their extended family, friends and church family have spent their days praying for Donna to receive a miracle from God to be totally healed. Indeed we have seen many small miracles... baby steps. Then by the Grace of God on July 2nd Donna was well enough to be transferred to Kindred Rehabilitation Hospital in Riverside to begin her journey to wellness. Due to Donna's lengthy stay in hospitals and the need for her to spend time in Kindred, there are many family expenses that are not included in health insurance and therefore I am asking you to please support Donna and Steve by donating to their Go Fund Me page. As well, please continue with your prayers for them as this journey could be a long road. As Steve would say, Faith over Fear. Thank you for your support of the Lasiter's.
