Help the Lao Family Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Yesterday, our dear neighbors, the Lao family, experienced an unimaginable tragedy. What began as a simple cookout in their backyard quickly turned into a devastating house fire. Within moments, their home was overtaken.

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely — and for that we are incredibly grateful. But they have lost their home, personal belongings, clothing, furniture, and so many irreplaceable memories.

In a matter of minutes, their lives were turned upside down.

This family has worked tirelessly for years to build the life they have today. They started with very little and, through dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, created a home and stability for themselves. Everything they have accomplished has been earned step by step, from the ground up.

As they begin the overwhelming process of recovery, they are facing immediate needs, and a long road of rebuilding. No family should have to go through something like this alone.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward helping them secure stable housing, replace necessities, and begin rebuilding their lives.
