Help the Lahoud Family Come to Canada

Hi, my name is Jeff Carter, and I am raising funds for Marie and Pascal Lahoud and their two children, Lana (7) and Alex (5) come to Canada. Due to the recent war in Ukraine, with very little warning, they were forced to evacuate their home in Kyiv, Ukraine, with only a small suitcase and their car (which they must leave in Romania where they are currently residing at a refugee center in Romania). Maria and Pascal are both teachers in Ukraine and currently find themselves without a home to raise their family and resettle.  We hope for the time being coming here will allow them to hopefully settle into a new quieter life.  

My wife and I are opening our home to them and would like to help with the airline tickets and expenses associated with their move to a safe place to live so that the children can start school here and we can help find work for their parents in the future.  Any donations will be greatly appreciated, and we hope to help this sweet family find peace and shelter after such a traumatic experience.

I know the Lahoud family personally from when I lived in Europe and was their professor in a university. Every donation, small or large, will help alleviate their stress in resettlement. I appreciate any help you can provide!
