Help the Kuhn Family Recover After Fire Loss

Last night, the Kuhn family in our Summer's Corner community had lightning strike their house. The direct lightning strike ignited the roof and led to a near total loss of the entire home and possessions. The family consists of four great people: Karl, Katrina, and their two teenage boys, Kason and Kruse.

We're asking the broader community to help the Kuhn's bridge the gap, they will need immediate funds for clothing, food, and shelter until the insurance company can assess and begin the long process of a rebuild. Please help this family with any small donation you can offer during this time of need!!

Our family is deeply touched and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support and generosity shown to us in the last few days.

First and foremost, we are blessed to say that we are all safe and healthy. We are eternally grateful for God’s grace and provisions.

At this time, we have decided to reopen the GoFundMe account. Though at this time, we are financially stable, the funds received will undoubtedly help us so much as we work through the unknowns that lie ahead.

You have our heartfelt assurance that the money will not be spent frivolously and will be used as absolutely necessary. Once we have established our new normal, it is our intention to donate to an existing or begin a new nonprofit dedicated to aiding those affected or displaced by a home fire.

You all are such good Samaritan’s, living examples of faith, family, and fellowship. We are so grateful for your presence in our lives.
